Ryan scored this elk with his bow
in Idaho early September.   40 yard
double-lung shot.  He shot this
bull the first 4 hours of the hunt.
The picture to the left was posted last
year in the 2009 Journal section.  This is
definitely the same buck as the one above
we call Medusa.....he's got tines
everywhere.  The split brow tines are the
same but he has blown up in every
direction.   What a difference one year can
make.
Tall Boy....the perfect rack.
Bill shot "Scar" bear in
Cheboygan, MI.  This is the
same bear I was after last year
which had a scar on his right
side.  This year he weighed
420 lbs and his skull measured
20".  Here's a link to the video
of some trail cam pictures
from last year.

Mitch shot this awesome 10 pt
with a bow in Montana on Oct.
3rd.  After scouting it the day
before and seeing the buck's
travel pattern, he moved in on it
and shot if from his knees on the
ground.  There were no big trees
to hang a stand.
10 year old Luke shot his first deer
ever on Oct. 10th.
Congratulations!  Nice shot buddy!
Briana shot her first buck on Oct.
10th.  Awesome buck!

We love girls who can shoot!
Ryan Umlor shot this nice buck in
West Michigan on a warm Oct 10th
evening.
Bruce shot this 9
point with his bow on
Halloween day in the
morning.
Wayne shot this 6x6 in New
Mexico.  They called him in to 28
yards from 400.
Brent shot this giant 9 pt on Nov.
5th within 5 minutes of getting in
the stand his first day of the hunt.
His bow was still on the ground
when they spotted this buck
raking this antlers in tree branches
behind them.  His was able to
hoist his bow up and shoot the
deer when it came within 20
yards.....all on video.
Check out Jason's
close encounter in
West Michigan on
Oct. 28th
Jeff shot this Montana Mullie Nov. 13th on video.  This 3x5 mullie has a tall non-typical
rack with a sticker.  He was rutting hard with 15 does in a field.   We were not able to get
close to him while he was on the field and kicked him off.  We stalked him for over a 3/4
mile  and closed the gap to 125 yards.
Chloe Baumann shot her
first buck with a cross
bow in Michigan earlier
this fall with her dad.
Congratulations!
Dave Horn's Iowa
9-point bow kill scored
143 4/8"
Aamen's 12-point from
his 28 acres in Michigan
Scored 157".  It must be
the Antler King food
plots paid off.....
Hey, cool sign in the
background!
LO Team member Jason DeWitt shot this incredible West Michigan buck on November 24th.  This
was his second chance at this buck this fall.  The 6-point buck scored 145 and has 12" brow tines with
a 23" spread.  This is what a buck can grow into if you pass him a year earlier.

More on this story coming soon.....
These 5 bucks were taken in IL in 3 days during the second firearm
season.  All of these bucks must have been fighting hard this year
because they all had broken or chipped antlers.  In fact, Mike's 160"
would be a 170" if the main beam wasn't broken.  It was also blind
in both eyes from fighting.  Story coming on video later.

Ryan's buck was shot at 125 yards at a full run when we pushed a
small woodlot.  Matt's 162" 10 pt....he saw a few times with a bow
but closed the deal with the gun in his hands.  Kurt's shot his 8 tp
during his last hunt before heading home.

Jeff's main frame 10 pt (13 pts total) grossed 162" but the really
unique part of this buck is the 7 1/2" antler bases and the 32" neck.
This deer weighed over 300 lbs.
Dick's IL first firearm
season 10 pt scored
150".  He shot this from
the same spot as last
year.
Matt's Iowa trip was successful with
this awesome 8 -pt and a coyote.
